I saw a recent picture of Barrack Obama playing basketball in a school gym, and the Mustangs logo was painted on the wall, and I was wondering if the picture was taken at Plum?

I'm a PSHS alumni living, along with many other alumni, in Florida, and I'm sorry to say that my last Plum Mustangs shirt died a withering death many years ago. I've often searched on the internet for someone who's selling Mustang items, but I'm always coming up with nothing. So, I was wondering if anyone there at PSHS had ever thought of doing some internet sales of Mustang merchandise so that folks like me who have left the Plum area can show a little Mustang pride around the country? I have plenty of Pittsburgh team items and apparel, but nothing to show for the Mustangs.  read more »

After being a proud member of a Democratic family, I find that I have lost my zeal for the party after reading the recent Time magazine piece on Rep. Nancy Pilosi. The article reveals that the Democratic response to President Bush's attempts to overhaul Social Security were all lies. I heard Democratic leader after leader profess that there was nothing for me to worry about in regards to Social Security, that there was no problem, only to find out that there are a LOT of problems and rather than offer a better solution than Bush's our leadership decided to convince us that there was nothing to worry about. It really makes me wonder what else I've been told not to worry about that I should be worried about?  read more »
