River City Brass Band recently launched a new blog that allows RCBB fans to stay posted about what is going on with the band.

RCBB Music Director and Conductor Denis Colwell says the idea is to share beyond what concert-goers hear from the stage.

“I look forward to our audience utilizing the blog to send their thoughts and questions about anything having to do with the RCBB. I really encourage them to email their comments.”

The name of the blog, Back Stage With Denis, can be found right on the RCBB home page: (www.rcbb.com), where postings are being written by Colwell.

Currently, the blog contains information about the band’s present show, “Broadway Babies,” fun light-hearted news about Denis’ family and answers to some of the most recent customer comments thoroughly addressed by Colwell.

In addition, the blog introduces some of the new brass musicians in a different light who have talents—as Denis puts it—“beyond the obvious.” So, if you haven’t seen the current show— this is surely an “obvious” reason to go see it! RCBB truly makes “serious music fun.”
