Throw the Bums Out Starting With the Magistrate
Tags:
Many of us have become very concerned about the manner in which Plum has become controlled by individuals through nepotism (who ya know)as well as heavy handed strong arm tacticts. It would be in the best interest of Plum Borough if serious talks emerged about a whole new group of unrelated individuals willing to transform Plum into the community it could be, but is not.
For openers, we need to challenge the district into electing a new Magistrate who is not controlled by the grips of of a few individuals. Remember the whole debacle over the actions of some badcops in the Plum Police Department and all the ruckus, embarrassment, and money they have caused taxpayers. Wasn't that enough for us, as concerned individuals, to rise up and take back our town. Hopefully the citizens of Plum, (and I speak for many like minded individuals), who feel cheated by a disrespecting body of power running rampant over the interests of the good citizens of Plum. It is time to Throw The Bums Out, but be selective of who the bums are. Bring in new blood, with judicial know how. This town is not little Italy.
The news has reported that Federally indicted officer Ryan Schneiderlochner, has been given his job back? He was defended by top notch reknowned Pittsburgh attorneys whose extremely expensive defense was not paid for by Schneiderlochner. Additionally, it was purported by one of Schneiderlochner's attorneys that he would likely sue Plum Borough for damages as well.
The officer who was fired by former Chief Payne as well as Plum Council, found guilty of 13 violations of police department policies, not only has been rehired, but expects taxpayers to pay for damages as he sues Plum Borough for additional punitive damages on top of his fully reinstated time off salary of over $56,000 a year. He is a liability and his actions are clearly unacceptable!
There are enough good men out there that we do not need police officers who engage in this kind of behavior. An officer so disrespectful to the borough (Plum) that rehired him back, that he is going to sue for damages in addition to his back pay, which has already been paid.
Again, he was paid for all the time he was on bail and under house arrest by the FBI for witness tampering!!! So he did not work as an officer but was paid in full for his time off and he still intends to sue Plum Borough. He was charged with videotaping a Monroeville Police officer and his girlfriend on company time at 2:30 am in a Plum police cruiser, outside his assigned area, and was being paid overtime for it. He did this to use it to keep witnesses from testifying against fellow police officers who were being investigated by the FBI for many violations of law.I don't think it takes a brain surgeon to figure out he was engaged in low quality behavior as well as certainly violating laws. He was found by Plum Council to be in violation of 13 counts of police misconduct.
Most jurors would be intimidated by the retaliation factor of a badcop that had the nerve to sit in front of your home in a police cruiser filming you at 2:30 am.Who would feel safe reigning in a guilty verdict against these kinds of badcops sadcops.
How much influence does officer Schneiderlochner possess that he can command his job back and then sue taxpayers of Plum for his pain and suffering. What about the pain and suffering he caused for the people he was videotaping. Any leader in this community that makes excuses for this type of behavior needs to be replaced as well as have people videotape them in private residences and see what kind of pain it causes them.
It is time that good citizens step forward. Let's get behind the council members who fired officer Schneiderlochner and elect additional members who feel his firing was a good first step in cleaning up the badcops and politicians of this town.
A new magistrate would be a great place to start anew, a person with legal experience, such as an experienced civil rights attorney. No more judges that are unable to do anything other than agree with police officers whether they are honest or not. The community is hungry for good management and smart honest people. Please start to Blog about new and fresh ideas and urge new people to seek offices in Plum. Plum has become an embarrassing nationwide laughing stock because of the DUI task force commercials on television as well as the many cops who continuously run Road Warrior Tactics to instigate unlawful, without probable cause, traffic stops, in an effort to raise money or find drunk drivers. The time is right for helpful and caring leaders to emerge in Plum. Anyone that runs will likely be the new magistrate, because the town is ready for the timely "changing of the guard".

Last day to register is May 2nd, 2008. Oh, wait...Miller must BE
an attorney. I see now.
Officer civil defense. I see that you took the time to become a brand new member just so you could post a response to attacks on your police department's credibility. Instead of surfing the internet while on duty, it would be more productive to be more pleasant and less like a smart alec. If you had anything to say of meaningful response we implore you to take the time you need that,is not on company time, and post an intellectual debate about the law. Small insignificant quips only solidify my position that, remaining the silent majority does nothing to change the world.
Out of all the readers, you stand alone as making the only smart alec remark. You must be extremely experienced in the law as you eluded to Magisterial School. Will you be attending the ficticious school yourself?
Thanx for your good taste and friendly remarks! I challenge you to post an in depth response to my blogs! Didn't think you could. I rest my case.
a. I'm not a cop. Magisterial school was googled. I really thought you might want to know, since you want CHANGE. It is not ficticious. And, no, I don't want to be a Magistrate. I am sure it is hard to be judicious. A thank-less job.
b. I do quip, it is to get a response...
c. Schneiderlochner's help will never be accepted by me...I have no
respect for someone who spies in someone's window.
d. Yes, I did create a new screen name. I kinda like it. Thanks.
I have known three folks who have been in the local court, I've been
in the local court also...and I havn't heard anything bad. I personally was treated fairly and judiciously. I did get to know the local magistrate (AFTER I was in the court on a traffic citation), and I personally have heard the Judge saying how careful she is about the rules of law and her personal role as a magistrate judge. So, I just have to respectfully ask: what happened to you or a friend or relative? Is this a personal grudge? Jusk askin'
With all due respect, our magistrate has absolutely nothing to do with the few bad apples that we have had to deal with in the Plum Borough Police Department. You should put your anger to good use and contact the United States Attorney for Western Districts of Pennsylvania, Mary Beth Buchanan, who was appointed by G. W. Bush and ask her why she has done nothing to continue the federal investigation that she began over 2 years ago after two officers and a fired police chief were named as targets of that FEDERAL investigation.
Tyou for your comments. There are many Plum citizens that feel that the magistrate has been at her job so long that she is unable to go against the status quo. She is too agreeable with what Plum council passes as ordinances. She could make a stand against ordinances that strip away our right to be free from illegal search and seizures, which my articles have been discussing at great length.
Sometimes power must challenge power to equalize injustices created by the system. Many people feel that justice has not been equally applied across the board. We believe that 16 years is much too long to be in this type of position of power. If the magistrate would come out publicly against the new ordinances robbing citizens of their rights of Due Process as well as giving police the right to make traffic stops without Probable Cause, then we might not be so up in arms. She has not done so, and has had ample time to do so. No disrespect to you or the magistrate.
We wish to know her position on these two issues. We feel it is important, and will be promoting a candidate who publicly speaks out against these unconstitutional attacks on our Plum citizens. If you know her, we would appreciate her input. And we agree with you that U.S. Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan did drop the ball when she began chasing Cyril Wecht. She became a political animal and has lost sight of her duties as a US Department of Justice attorney. She also neglected her duties in the Ellerbe State Trooper child shooting case as well. She will be replaced after the Presidential Election.
Before you get anymore carried away, lets first get some of the facts straight. I am proud of the Plum Borough Police Dept and how they weather the political storm! It is a shame that a small group of people would make false claims agianst officers that serve their community. I remember how this whole problem started, former Mayor! What professional would run to the media, make acusations, and later found GUILTY in Federal Court under whistle blower?
You mentioned officer Ryan Schneiderlocker, who was tried in the highest court in the land and found NOT GUILTY! The law is the law no matter what YOU think or feel.
You logged in to defend bad behavior by Plum police. Does this mean you have a personal connection to the case? Do you find it acceptable to witness tamper in a Federal FBI investigation? You are in the minority of people who would defend the behavior you are attempting to defend, and only a cop, the accused, or friend of the accused would attempt to do so. And there are most of the Plum police that disagree with your premise altogether.
We know of the embarrassment some badcop sadcops have brought to the reputation of the Plum police department. So all of us agree on one thing and it is that there are goodcops and there are badcops. Cops who remain silent while other cops break the law are considered by most to be badcops too, and they struggle constantly with this gut wrenching guilt. It is a shame that goodcops cannot bring their complaints out into the sunshine without dire consequences. Cops that try to bully people, even on blogsites come across as trying to limit free speach. If you are a good cop, then we applaud you, but making excuses for the unprofessional conduct of others will stifle your credibility. If you are a good cop, do you report the inappropriate actions of your fellow officers? Kind of makes it hard to be a good cop when you have to remain silent at threat of the consequences. You mentioned the highest court in the land, the highest court in the land is the Supreme Court, not Federal Circuit court.
In the last 5 years there has been 4 police chiefs in Plum, what is wrong with this picture? You refered to former mayor Schmeck who was harrassed continuously by police officer Schneiderlochner. Officer Schneiderlochner was fired back then in 2001. The Fraternal Order of Police forced Plum to give back Scneiderlochner's job at the threat of a lawsuit. (That also happened in the Johnny Gammage case). Since then Officer Schneiderlochner was arrested by the FBI for witness tampering and interfering with an investigation. He was again fired by Plum council and Chief Payne in 2005 for 13 counts of police misconduct. The officer was admittedly filming an ex girlfriend in a Plum police Cruiser out of his assigned area, getting overtime pay for it. The FBI indictment accused Schneiderlochner of doing so in order to use the film to intimidate his exgirlfriend witness against several Plum Police officers, because she was going to give State's Evidence against several bad plum cops.
Anyone wanting to "get the facts" as you have suggested can do a search at the top right search box of this site with one word... Schneiderlochner... and see what the facts are as reported in the newspapers.
Regardless of the extra marital affairs involved, How can any person, defend these actions? All of this information was in all the Local and National newspapers. Is this the kind of police behavior we find acceptable in Plum?
What ever happened to 24 year old Dean Vargo hanging arrested for disorderly and domestic charges in the jail cell at plum police station with former chief payne along with three remaining police officers and a police dispatcher still on duty? Also what happened to the missing parts of the video? No officers were ever repremanded or dismissed from their duties until the investigation was over. This makes a total of seven corrupt officers in organized crime in the borough just on that case. I also know of at least four other corrupt police investigations with officers lying under oath. Dean Vargo is a vegatable in John Kane hospital. He is brain dead. Also the investigation was conducted by chief paynes ex colleagues of the allegheny county detective and crime scene agency which investigated the incident of Dean Vargo while chief payne was still in command. An unplanned retirement from chief payne suprisingly came up. How did he do all of this when he doesnt even have a high school diploma and now as a head security guard at a coca cola company? One last thought is that the people of plum borough know more than they say they do but nobody is asking the right people the right questions especially the FBI.
Thanx For Getting Involved!!!
