Some things never change but the citizens of Plum better wake up and pay attention are you aware that Plum council has initiated a new ordinance that allow the police to perform search and seizure with the fredom to pull your vechile over with no probable cause? How can the citizens of Plum permit this to happen when our young men and women are fighting for democracy in the middle east? How many soliders have died in the middle east ?lC ose to 5000,yet we are letting our local government violate our rights because we arent paying attention. Come on folks wake up our federal constitution prohibits this lets protect out rights. Do you all care about your children/grandchildren future? Most folks believe never in America only we are losing our rights daily are both the local and federal levels. The citizens of Plum can change this ordiance you all need to inform your local council and canidates that you will not tolerate it. The ordiance can be changed its the citizens right after all its our tax dollars that pays the local police force. The council members are elected by the people and should be the voice o the people. The residents that attend the council meetings on a regular basis spend most of the time with mellow drama arguing amongst each other and judging each other rather than focusing on whats really imporant to the citizens of the borough. I use to attend these meetings to fight rails to trails because of the tax burden(this issue was a personal agenda of former council women which took nearly a year of intense investigation and public exposure to educate council on the facts) I have fought our current educational system 10 years ago because it limits our childrens right to fair education AT THE TIME NO ONE WANTED TO BELIEVE IT NOW THE SYSTEM HAS TAKEN AFFECT AND ITS TOO LATE TO CHANGE IT BECAUSE PLUM NEVER WROTE THEIR BILL OF RIGHTS TO PROTECT OUR FREEDOM TO OPERATE OUR SCHOOLS AT A LOCAL LEVEL JUST LOOK AT THE STATE SEALS ON YOUR CHILRENS DIPLOMAS. I am still ahome owner,taxpayer in Plum I JUST CANT BELIEVE THAT THE CITIZENS ARE MORE CONCERNED OVER LOCAL DRAMA THAN YOUR OWN RIGHTS. I can bet that most citzens arent even aware of what Plum council is doing because they too are tired of the same old drama over,over again. People dont get involved because of the BS/drama. If most of you all would move out of that small town then yould realize whAT RIGHTS OF YOURS ARE TRUELY BEING VOILATED. PLEASE WAKE UP LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD, DONT BE BULLIED BY THE BULLDOGS. IN NUMBERS YOU WILL BE HEARD SO ORGANIZE, GATHER AND ATTEND THESE MEETINGS, BE CONSISTENT,PROFFESSIONAL AND YOU ALL WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. You mustnt let them violate your rights any longer if you dont believe this research the federal constitution, contact a civil rights/criminal lawyer they will educate you all.
