Plum High School Air Force JROTC will unveil and dedicate the Armed Services Monument at 9 a.m. at the high school.

The monument honors all Plum High School graduates that have served or are serving in any branch of the military. Any Plum graduate that has served are welcome to attend the ceremony and be honored.

The memorial of David Finnegan, American hero, will also be rededicated as it has been moved into the Armed Services Monument. A flag-raising ceremony will also be conducted by Plum Air Force JROTC cadets.

State Sen. Sean Logan and school officials also will attend.

Our friends, family and aquaintances are in our prayers.

As a dear friend and schoolmate of David Finnegan I'm glad the Borourgh is going to rebuilt his memorial and honor those who have served. Had I know earlier I would of made a point to be there for the rededication. David lived next door in Holiday Park and was a great guy. I have thought of him often.
