Summer Blast sign-ups begin

Unity Community Church is holding its annual Summer Blast for three weeks in July.

Summer Blast is a week-long program for children in grades one through six. The program will be held the weeks of July 7, 14 and 21.

Summer Blast features music, skits and entertainment. Each day will provide opportunities for those attending to compete in teams, hear a daily Bible message and make new friends.

Trained counselors focus on building relationships with the students and help them apply Biblical principles in their everyday life.

Registration is $95 per child. Registration will be accepted until the program begins. For more information, contact Kathy Humes at 412-793-6266, ext. 21, or at www. UnityCommunityChurch.org.

Children's program

Pittsburgh East Community Church invites parents and their elementary-age children to attend KidzSTUF the third weekend of each month.

The program is a 25-minute, multimedia production designed to reinforce the core virtue of the month which is taught in Upstreet.

During weekend services, elementary-age children meet at Upstreet to go to an energized worship service and break out into groups for Bible reading, crafts and games.

KidzSTUF follows the adult service and takes place in the Kidz Theatre at the church on O'Block Road in Plum.
